Susie A. McCoy July 9, 1930 - October 31, 2008 Susie A. McCoy, 78 of Greenfield passed away Friday, October 31, 2008 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born July 9, 1930 in Rush County, Indiana to the late Edgar M. and M. May (Theobald) Lingenfelter. Susie was a 1948 graduate of Shelbyville High School and a 1949 graduate of Indiana Central Business College. She married Harry W. McCoy on April 26, 1948. Susie was a devoted mother and Grandma. She loved bowling and tennis. She was a member of Fountaintown Christian Church for sixty years where she was involved in the church choir and the MITE Society. For the past twelve years Susie made her home at Brandywine Nursing and Rehab and considered the residents and staff as part of her extended family. Mrs. McCoy is survived by her daughters: Debra Pritchard of Indianapolis and Lynn (Mack) Cory of Greenfield, brother: Billy (Cathy) Lingenfelter of Greenfield, sisters: Donna Wilhelm and Mary (Dean) Runion all of Greenfield, grand daughter: Christina Cory of Greenfield Aunt: Frances Ellis of Indianapolis and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry McCoy in 1969. Services will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 5th, 2008 at Fountaintown Christian Church, 797 W. Brookville Road, Fountaintown, Indiana 46130 with Pastor Michael Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery in Shelbyville. Friends may call Tuesday, November 4th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home ~ Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main St., Greenfield, Indiana 46140.
