Suzanne Johnson September 17, 1945 - April 6, 2009 Suzanne (Kraus) Johnson, 63, passed away Monday, April 6, 2009 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis from complications of a stroke. She was surrounded by her family. Suzanne was born September 17, 1945 at Major Hospital in Shelbyville, IN and was the daughter of the late Max and surviving Mary Louise (Kraus) Wells. She graduated from Charlottesville High School in 1963. She went on to earn a Medical Laboratory Technician degree in St. Louis, Missouri. She later moved to Iowa and worked as a lab tech before returning to Greenfield in 1990. Suzanne was active in 4-H club and was a member of Shiloh Christian Church. She enjoyed reading, sewing, crocheting and had a great love for animals. She is survived by her mother, Mary Louise Kraus (Marion) Wells of Greenfield; daughter, Christina (Keith) Kroner and grandson Nolan of Des Moines, IA; son, Anthony Neil Johnson and granddaughter Quinn of Indianapolis; sister, Judith (Larry) Turner of Greenfield; nieces, Sabrina (Todd) Ryan of Greenwood; Kristen (Chris) Hewitt of Franklin, WI; Audra (Dana) Caldwell of Morristown; 5 great nephews; cousin, Diane Everton of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her father, Max Kraus. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2009 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield. Burial will follow at Asbury Cemetery, Morristown. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday, April 9, 2009 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be sent to Faith United Methodist Church, 328 North Swope Street, Greenfield, IN 46140.
