Teddy "Ted" Ross Savage

Teddy Ross Savage, 69, Daleville, IN, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at IU Ball Memorial Hospital. Ted was born on August 10, 1956, in Galax, Virginia, to parents Eugene and Blanche (Anders) Savage. He graduated from Walters State Community College, in Morristown, TN. He briefly served in the U.S. Army before being medically discharged. He married Kathryn Eileen Wright on Christmas day 1999.

Ted was a long-haul truck driver for over 28 years. He received many prestigious awards from his employers by driving over 1 million miles, on many occasions. He also received top-earner awards from his employers on many occasions. He loved to write poetry and watch you-tube videos. His love for baseball was immense, especially when the Cubs were playing and winning. He also had a few favorite cats to keep him company.

Ted is survived by his loving wife Kathy of 25+ years; children, Phillip (Miranda) Savage, Misti (Kevin) Clark, and Emily (Leah) Savage; 5 grandchildren: Ryne Savage, Makenzie Savage, Zoey Savage, Adria Clark, and Jonah Clark; 1 great-granddaughter; sister, Jackie Will; and beloved cat, Boo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Savage; and beloved cats, Ziggy and Moki.

Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Greenfield, IN, is of assistance to the Savage family during their loss. There will not be a visitation nor service, per Ted's request.
