Teratha "Jane" Hensley

Teratha Jane (Foust) Hensley, 80, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. Teratha was born on February 17, 1941 in LaFollette, TN, to Henry and Lilly Mae (Clouse) Foust. Teratha was a tremendously loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her and will be sadly missed. She loved her family to the fullest and was the matriarch everyone looked up to. Teratha could often be seen outdoors tending to her flower gardens and mowing the grass. She also enjoyed cooking. She is survived by her loving children: Robert Hensley, Randal (Brenda) Hensley, and Lisa (Doug) McKinney; grandchildren: Sabrina (Josh) Miller, Amanda Hensley, Teejay Hensley, and Matthew McKinney; great-grandchildren: Sam Miller, Callie Miller, and Jackson Hibbert; and siblings: Gaye Stout, Lonnie Foust, Ann Young, and Ina Woods. Teratha was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Connie Hensley; and siblings: Jo McGill, Ruth Angel, Henrietta Holloway, Larry Foust, and Bill Foust. Visitation will be on Friday, July 30, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140, with the service immediately following at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place in Asbury Cemetery.
