Terry Reed Blackford

Terry Reed Blackford, 61, Greenfield passed away May 26, 2021 at St. Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born October 15, 1959 in Greenfield to Francis Eugene and Elizabeth Pauline (Reed) Blackford. Terry was a highly-skilled, independent concrete contractor for many years. He worked for Bailey Contracting for over 20 years as well as for many friends over the years. Terry will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his grilling and cooking skills, his love for Harley Davidson, and his ability to make others smile. In his spare time, Terry enjoyed mowing anyone's grass, listening to blues and classic rock music, and spending time outdoors. Above all, he was devoted to his family and loved time spent with them. He is survived by his loving mother, Elizabeth Blackford; loving daughters: Amanda Blackford (Ryan Gluys) and Tiffany Tidrow, awesome grandchildren: Mathew Gluys, Michael Gluys, Austin Tidrow, and Jackson Tidrow; 6 incredible siblings; several nieces and nephews; and the mother-of-his-children; Mary (Harrison) Blackford Gable. Terry is preceded in death by his father, Francis Blackford and 2 siblings. A Memorial Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN.
