Thomas C. Amos December 2, 1936 - June 12, 2008 Thomas C. Amos, 71, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born December 2, 1936 in Tipton, Indiana to the late James and Hattie May (Fowler) Amos. He was an auto mechanic and more recently a people greeter at the Greenfield Wal-Mart. He attended the Westland Friends Church, loved spending time with his family, watching TV, and riding his motor scooter. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Wells) Amos of Greenfield whom he married March 29, 1958; sons, Mark (Linda) Amos of Greenfield, Matt Amos of Carthage, Scott Amos of Greenfield; brother, John Amos; sister, Margarite Hayward of Muskogee, OK; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 3 step great- grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield with Pastor David Deem officiating. Burial will be at Park Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call Monday, June 16, 2008 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
