Thomas Sherrill Edwards

Thomas Sherrill Edwards, Jr., 57 of Greenfield passed away Thursday March 30, 2017 in Hyden, Kentucky. He was born on March 10, 1960 in Indianapolis, Ind. to Thomas S. Edwards Sr. and Rose (Cavender) Crandall. Thomas graduated from Warren Central High School and worked for the City of Greenfield at the Waste Water Treatment Facility in maintenance. He was an avid Colts, Pacers, and Hoosiers fan who also enjoyed camping and fishing. Thomas loved his family with all his heart. He was a wonderful father, husband, and friend to all who knew him. Thomas is survived by his wife, Tammy L. (Rice) Edwards of Greenfield whom he married on February 15, 1992; mother, Rose Crandall of Largo, FL; son, David (Jessica) Edwards of Greenfield; daughter, Bailey Edwards of Greenfield; step-son, Andrew (Gretchen) Cobb of New Castle; brothers, Dale Johnson, Kenny Crandall, Larry Crandall, Tim Edwards, Tony Edwards all of Indianapolis; sister, Linda Cole of Largo, FL; father-in-law, (Father) Bud (Bunny) Rice of New Palestine; and 5 grandchildren. Thomas was preceded in death by his father listed above.
