Tonya R. Bullock

Tonya Renee Bullock, 49, of Indianapolis, Indiana, joined the Lord on Friday, October 21, 2022.

Tonya was born on June 28, 1973 in Washington, Indiana. She isthe daughter of Ronald Bullock and Ingrid Franklin Mielke, both currently of Indianapolis.

She was the oldest of 3 children and spent her childhood in Loogootee, Indiana before beginning high school in Indianapolis, where her family relocated.

Tonya was a loving and compassionate sister, daughter, aunt and friend who shared her kindness with the world. She had the most generous heart and could light up your soul with her laughter. Tonya's sense of humor kept a smile on everyone's face.

Tonya was a 1991 graduate of Scecina Memorial High School and earned an accounting degree from IUPUI. She worked as an accountant for most of her adult life. She never met a strangerwhether crunching numbers or serving drinks as a bartender at the local watering hole.

Tonya loved travel, adventure, and making memories with her family. She could be foundteaching her nieces and nephews how to bet on the derby, taking her grandparents to Hawaii on their 50th wedding anniversary, or hand making unique gifts for her family Christmas.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joe and Margaret Franklin and and Bob and Bernice Bullock. Tonya is survived by her mother, Ingrid Franklin Mielke (Jerry); father, Ronald Bullock; siblings, Meredith Raben (Brad) and Sarah McKinley (Chris); nieces and nephews, Hannah Bullock (Trevor), Nathan Raben, Maggie Raben and Carter Raben.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 2pm – 6pm at Stillinger Family Funeral Home- Hendryx Chapel Cumberland 11636 E. Washington St. Indpls, IN 46229.

Visitation will continue on Monday October 31, 2022 in Loogootee, Indiana from 10am -12pm at St. John's Catholic Church 408 Church St. Loogootee, IN 47553, followed by a 12PM Mass and Christian burial at St. John's Catholic cemetery.
