Tressie (Owens) Fife

Tressie (Owens) Fife, 85, Greenfield, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022, with family by her side. She was born on October 13, 1936, in Nigh, KY, to the late Kenis and Enzie (Taylor) Owens. She married her love Charles Fife on March 19, 1955. Tressie worked as a janitor and then as a custodian for IPS for 15 years. She enjoyed yard sales. She is survived by her loving husband Charles Fife of 67 years; their children, sons: Charles R. Fife and Stanley R. Fife; daughters: Debra Lear, Jo Bokelman (Christopher Childers) and Sharlet (Brian) Gandy; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Tressie was preceded in death by her parents; son, Stewart Fife; and brothers: Cornelius (Bonnie) Owens and Delbert (Eloise) Owens; and sisters: Selma (Hank) Rueff and Sylvia (Elmo) Webb. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, as well as on Friday, May 13, 2022, from 12noon to 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
