Valeda M Foust

Valeda M. Foust April 29, 1911 - January 12, 2008 Valeda M. Foust, 96, a lifelong resident of Greenfield passed away Saturday, January, 12, 2008 at Brandywine Nursing and Rehab. She was born April 29, 1911 in Hancock County to the late Laban and Grace (Stewart) Johnson. She graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelors in Education in 1933, was a high school Business and English teacher at Hancock Central High School and Greenfield High School for 25 years retiring in 1970. She was a member of Greenfield Christian Church, Miriam #64, O.E.S., Past Worthy Matron, member of the Hancock County Retired Teachers Association and the Hancock Regional Hospital Guild. She loved to read and enjoyed her bible studies. She is survived by sister-in-law, Daisy Foust of Greenfield; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett O. Foust, 1991. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield with Pastor John Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until the time of service at the funeral home.
