Veda May Irelan March 24, 1940 - June 15, 2014 Veda May Irelan, 74, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Laurel County, KY on March 24, 1940 to the late James and Cindia (Cheek) Gross. Veda is survived by four children: Richard Wood, Patricia Sweet, Karen Bridgewater, and Jeffrey Lee. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild as well as nine siblings who mourn her passing. She is preceded in death by her parents, her son: Daniel Wood, and daughters: Robin Wood, and Teresa (Wood) Pratt as well as spouses: Francis Lee, Ralph Irelan, and Dennis Wood. Friends may call Wednesday, June 18th from 4 7 pm at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Services will follow at 7 pm at the funeral home. A graveside service and burial will be held on Thursday, June 19th at 2:00 pm at the Gross Family Cemetery in London, Kentucky.
