Victor Cuebas

Victor Cuebas, 71, of Lafayette, Indiana passed away Thursday morning September 27, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 15, 1946 in Puerto Rico to the late Rodolfo and Sara (Vega) Cuebas. Victor married the love of his life, Denice (Jensen) on January 6, 2001. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He later joined the IUEC Local 34 as an Elevator Mechanic. It was said that Victor loved anything outdoors and vowed to God to take care of the land he had provided. He was an avid hiker in his younger years, enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, absolutely all things nature. He had a passion for Mathematics and would often sit with math books while watching TV working on problems. Above all of this, Victor loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Denice (Jensen) Cuebas, son, Victor (Christy) Cuebas; daughters, Zoraida Cuebas, Shanna Bush, Cagney (Calvin) Stein; 7 grandchildren, Stephanie (Matt), Victoria (Jordan), Koen, Dawson, Adarius, ZayLa, NeVaeh; 1 great-grandchild, Carson; brothers-in-law, Mike (Charl) Jensen and Scott (Michelle) Seymour. He was preceded in death by his parents listed above. Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday October 2, 2018 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel 1780 W. Main St. Greenfield, Indiana. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday October 3, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
