Virgie Deloris Allen June 1, 1926 - November 30, 2010 Virgie Deloris Allen, 84, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born June 1, 1926 in Bonnie Blue, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Harvie and Mary (Clifton) Smith. Virgie attended the Family Worship Center in Greenfield. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Emzy D. Allen of Greenfield; 3 sons, Marvin L. "Sonny" Petrey of Greenfield; Marcus J. "Buster" Petrey of Carthage; P. E. "Pete" Petrey of Greenfield; 5 daughters, Mary L. (Ronald) McCoy of Rochester, IN; Ella S. Petrey of Reelsville, IN; Emma R. "Erma" (Donald) Campbell of Suisun City, CA; Naoima Cox of Greenfield; Nina J. Petrey of Reelsville, IN; 12 grandchildren, 24 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Pearl Petrey; daughter, Brenda L. Petrey; son, Manual D. Petrey. Graveside service will be held on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Park Cemetery with Pastor Russell Hooker officiating. Friends may call at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Comments Pat and I are saddened by Delores' passing, but at the same time we rejoice with you that she is "at home with the LORD", and not suffering. " This precious family is in our prayers.
