Virginia D. Hall August 18, 1922 - December 5, 2007 Virginia Dickinson Hall, 85, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at her residence. She was born August 18, 1922 in Bedford, Iowa to the late Lee and Pearl (Scott) Dickinson. She served our country in the US Coast Guard during WW II, retired in 1982 from the Ft. Harrison Finance Center after 26 years of service and was a member of the Greenfield Christian Church. She is survived by daughters, Pat Hall of Greenfield and Terry Hall of Columbus, IN; son, Roger (Sandra) Hall of Greenfield; sisters, Berniece Bledsoe, Jo Ann Smith both of Greenfield, Leona (Al) Schreiber of Sebring, FL; four grandchildren, Doug Samuels of Ft. Wayne, IN, Brian Samuels of Birmingham, AL, Sarah Brisco of Tulsa, OK, Deanna Franke of Miramar, FL, two great granddaughters, Raegan Samuels and Sydney Brisco.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Hall, sisters Irene Dickinson and Leota Carton; brothers, Scotty and Russell Dickinson. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 10, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Greenfield Christian Church with Pastor John Davis officiating. Military rites will be provided by Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard immediately following the service at the church. Friends may call from 2 until 6 p.m. Sunday, December 9, 2007 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield and also one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.
