Virginia M. Hawley November 21, 1925 - January 11, 2014 Virginia M. Hawley, 88 of Greenfield passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehab, Greenfield. She was born November 21, 1925 in Madison, WI. To the late Leland and Marie Ledford. Virginia married Lyle J. Hawley on June 25, 1946. She was a hospital volunteer at Riverside General Hospital in Riverside, CA. for many years, served as the president of the hospital auxiliary and was the former manager of the Sears candy department. Virginia is survived by son; Michael (Lindy) Hawley of Joplin, MO., daughters; Jacqueline (Terry) Knaack of Greenfield and Roxanne (Mike) Noble of Apple Valley, CA, 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lyle J. Hawley, 1 brother and 3 sisters. There will be no local services held. Burial will take place at a later date at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, NV. Arrangements are entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield, IN.
