My sympathy to the family, especially Kathy and Bob. " Barb Kaster - November 21, 2011 at 04:54 PM Dear Kathy and all the Vaughn family, " I want to extend my condolences to all of you. The last time I saw Virginia was when I visited Westland Church one Sunday while in the Greenfield area. I'm so glad I did. Virginia was so pretty, and she and Ora were such nice people. I remember when our teenage Sunday School group at Westland Church had gatherings at their house a few times. It may have been after Christmas Caroling or after the sunrise service on Easter morning. When her mother, Cora Lindamood, went to church at Westland. My mother used to say, "Mrs. Lindamood has such beautiful daughters," and they were too. Another fun memory: When I was very young, maybe in first grade, I went with my parents to a school program at Westland school. There was a performance by some of the high school students, and I'm pretty sure one of them was Virginia. I remember her red hair. They sang and danced, very energetically, to a popular song, "Ta-ra-ra- boom-de-ay." Not sure if that's the title, but it goes like this: I'm not too young, I'm not too old, not too bashful, not too bold, Just the kind you'd like to hold, just the kind for sport, I'm told. Then the chorus: Ta-ra-ra-boom-de-ay" repeated several times. Just remembered that, and thought you would enjoy it. Love & Prayers, Martha Martha (Miller) Fitzgerald - November 21, 2011 at 04:54 PM
