Vivian Kemper, age 86 of Greenfield, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Crown Point Living Center in Greenfield. She was born on August 22nd 1930 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Frank B. and Edith Driffill.
Vivian graduated from Charlottesville High School in 1949 and would marry the love of her life Raymond H. Kemper on August 19th 1950. She worked for High Point Oil Company for many years until she started at Hancock Memorial Hospital as a Switch Board Operator for 13 years until retiring in 1980. She also worked for University Hospital Pathology Lab for 15 years until retiring in 1996. Vivian was a Gold Star mother at the American Legion Post #119 for over 40 years, and a past member of Brandywine Community Church for over 10 years. She was also a charter member of the FOP.
Surviving Vivian are her daughters in laws; Rita Kemper, Debra Volbrecht and 3 grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents listed above; husband, Raymond H. Kemper; sons, Kenneth, Steven, and Robert Kemper; sister, Elizabeth Miller and brother, Eugene Driffill.
Services for Vivian will be private with burial at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown, Indiana. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, IN 46140.
