Vivian L. Wicker January 10, 1912 - August 10, 2008 Vivian L. Wicker, 96 of Greenfield passed away Sunday, August 10, 2008 at Hancock Regional Hospital. Mrs. Wicker was born January 10, 1912 in Hancock County, Indiana to the late Chancy C. and Lula S. Catt-Gardner. She married Omer Wicker on May 10, 1930 and together they farmed in Blue River Township until retirement. Vivian was a devoted Mother and Grandmother, a lifelong devout Christian and a member of Greenfield Friends Church. She loved quilting, crafts and collecting bears. Vivian also volunteered for the hospital guild. She is survived by her son; Duane ( Jeanette) Wicker of California, Missouri, Daughters; Luellen ( Gary)Gustin of Greenfield and Pauline Ross of California , sister; Pauline Williams of California; eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Omer in October of 2000 and two sisters. Services will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, August 13th at Stillinger Family Funeral Home~Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street in Greenfield with burial following at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 pm until 8 pm.
