W. Dale Miller January 12, 1916 - June 29, 2008 W. Dale Miller, 92, a lifelong resident of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2008 in Greenfield. He was born January 12, 1916 in Hancock County to the late Walter H. and Etta M. (Sosbe) Miller. He graduated from Westland High School, retired in 1983 Irving Materials as a mechanic; he was a member of Shiloh Christian Church, Greenfield Moose Lodge, and was an avid gardener. He is survived by daughters, Marla (Don) Butcher of York, PA, Karen Adrian of Ft. Worth, TX; son, Jim Miller of Greenfield; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva C. (Hill) Miller, whom he married December 25, 1938; sisters, Eileen Crane, Florence Lacy, Mary Bordner. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Comments Dale was a very nice man. I saw him all the time at Walmart and he spoke to my Mom and I every time we saw him and he was always smiling. He will be sadly " missed by all of us.
