Wanda L. Shafer

Wanda L. (Beagle) Shafer, 96, of Greenfield, IN passed away on July 8, 2022 in Greenfield. She was born to the late Herschel and Helen (Schaeffer) Beagle on June 16, 1926 in Knightstown, IN. Wanda enjoyed spending time with her partner Fred Sallee and raising her daughter Connie. She liked to read and was part of a book club for many years. She was an animal lover and especially cats. She loved to take trips to the family cottage on Sechrist Lake near Warsaw, IN. In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her late husband, William Max Shafer; her daughter, Constance "Connie" Shafer. She is survived by her lifelong partner, Fred Sallee and her 3 cousins, Charles and Greg Schaeffer, Sheri Criss. Services for Wanda will be Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 11AM at Stillinger Family Funeral Home Pasco Chapel 1780 W. Main St. Greenfield, IN 46140. Burial to follow in Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis. Friends may visit on Wednesday evening , July 13, 2022 from 3PM-7PM at the funeral home.
