Wanetta "Peggy" Johnson October 25, 1923 - June 13, 2012 Wanetta J. "Peggy" Johnson age 88 years, of Greenfield formerly of Maxwell passed away Wednesday night June 13, 2012 at her residence. She was born October 25, 1923 in Grove City, Ohio to the late Albert E. and Adda O. (Vane) Willing. She was a homemaker and former co-owner/operator with her husband of Johnsons Grocery in Maxwell, a member of Trinity Park United Methodist Church, Eden Order of the Eastern Star #101 and the Rebekah Hope #114. Peggy was a Greenfield Central High School Band Booster from 1979 1983. She is survived by her sons Fred (Alberta) Johnson of Greenfield, Cleve (Lisa) Johnson of Greenfield, 4 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Johnson, daughter Linda Lou Stephenson, sister, Anita Breckenridge, brothers, Wilmer and Willard Fisher. Visitation will be Saturday June 16, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Private family entombment service will be at a later time.
