Wayne Alfred Preston March 10, 1937 - March 28, 2007
Wayne Alfred Preston, 70, of Greenfield passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at Community Hospital East.
He was born March 10, 1937 in Greenfield to the late Clarence and Cecil (McPherson) Preston.
He had served in the U.S. Army as a Medic Driver, retired in 1999 from Roll Coater as a fork lift driver. He was a member of the V.F.W. and Knightstown American Legion.
He is survived by step-daughters, Phyllis Sexton Billerman, Dianna Kay Evans; sister, Diane Preston-Gones; 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by wife, Patricia J. Preston, passed away January 28, 2002; sisters, Helen Devitt, Joann Stanley, Frances Preston, Mary Preston, Alma Preston, Susan Preston; brothers, Cliff, Ron, Billy Joe, Ralph, Bobby Preston; grandson, Michael A. Evans and great-granddaughter, Shelby Sexton.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Dyer officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery with military rites by Knightstown American Legion. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
