Pet Services
Losing a pet is never easy. No matter how big or small they are, they bring so much joy, laughter, comfort, and companionship. Because your pet plays a significant role in your life, they deserve a proper send-off when they pass away. At Stillinger Family Funeral Home, we provide various options that allow you to honor your pet’s life as you begin the grieving process.

Private Cremation
A private cremation means your pet is placed in the cremation chamber alone. Upon completion of the cremation, your pet's cremated remains are removed from the chamber and returned to you. Specialty urns are available for an additional cost. Please ask our staff for details.

Individual Cremation
With individual cremation, your pet shares space in the cremation chamber with other pets. However, each pet carries a unique identification tag into the chamber, so you know the cremated remains you receive are your pet's. Specialty urns are available for an additional cost. Please ask our staff for details.

Home Burial
Burying your pet at home keeps it close and gives you the opportunity to create a permanent memorial, like a grave marker or tree planted over the pet's grave. However, in some cases, home burial is prohibited by law or may not be feasible if you live in an apartment. Also, issues may arise if you choose to move.

Memorialization
No matter what final disposition you choose, you must also decide how you want to honor your pet's life. Whether it is an informal gathering or an elaborate service, it is important to conduct some type of ceremony to provide you with closure.
No one wants to contemplate the death of a pet. By making decision now, you can not only honor the life of your beloved pet but also create a plan to help you heal. Please contact us for more information about your options.
"Such short little lives our pets have to spend with us, and they spend most of it waiting for us to come home each day. It is amazing how much love and laughter they bring into our lives and even how much closer we become with each other because of them."
